Our Mission
Frankie & The Bees, Inc. is a 501c3 organization that was created in memory of the loved ones, who helped turn a career into a passion. The bees brought us together, building, creating and inspiring us to become advocates for them.
Now, together with our bees and enlisting local communities, we hope to inspire and educate the next generation of advocates. We want to not only redefine how people think of honeybees but we want to highlight their importance and how it effects our future.
We, at Frankie and The Bees, are driven by a deep sense of responsibility to protect the honeybees. We want to create a world where honeybees thrive, and we will achieve this through our various educational programs, community initiatives, and sustainable beekeeping practices.
Join us or support us in our journey to make a lasting impact on the planet.
Meet The Team

Jessica Altrui
Jessica founded Frankie and the Bees in 2020 after an unexpected personal journey transformed her early fear of bees into deep admiration. What began as a way to face that fear, photography opened her eyes to the extraordinary world of honeybees, their complex behavior, their quiet resilience, and their essential role as pollinators within
our global food systems.
Through the camera lens, she developed not only respect but a lasting passion for protecting and celebrating these vital creatures. Today, her vision guides the organization’s mission.

Thomas Connolly
As Vice President of Frankie and the Bees, Thomas Connolly pairs a natural educator’s spirit with a deep commitment to the stewardship of honeybees and the preservation of authentic honey. He is dedicated to advancing awareness of bees’ essential role as pollinators and their impact on global food security, working to ensure that both the bees and the ecosystems they support can thrive.
